Reading the geometry
Every other study here is built from straight edges. This one is not, and that is exactly why it became the most recognisable Japanese GT livery of the nineties. The green sweeps up from the rear arch, thins across the door, and lifts over the front wheel — a curve that follows the A80's own shoulder line rather than fighting it.
Below it, a narrower red line traces the same path a few centimetres back, and above it a second thin green line does the same. Three parallel curves at different weights: it is a rule set, not a drawing, and it can be applied to any body shape and still look correct.
The white ground is not decoration. On a car this long, an unbroken white field is what gives the curves something to be read against.
