Toyota Supra Mk4
The A80 Supra arrived in May 1993 and stayed in production in Japan until August 2002, long after US sales ended in 1998. Its reputation rests almost entirely on one component: the 2JZ-GTE, a 2,997 cc sequentially twin-turbocharged iron-block inline six.
Toyota engineered the bottom end with enormous margin, and the aftermarket spent thirty years finding out how much. In factory form the car is calmer than the legend suggests — heavy at roughly 1,490 to 1,570 kilograms, long-geared, and built to cross continents.
