Reading the geometry
Silver is the hardest ground to work on because it changes value constantly under light. The AMG DTM cars solved it by using diagonals of decreasing width, spaced so that the silver between them is always wider than the stripe beside it. The eye reads the silver as the subject and the stripes as measurement.
The order matters: the broad blue leads, a narrow red follows, and a second blue closes the group. Reverse the sequence and the composition falls apart — it becomes a flag rather than a livery.
A graphite band along the sill grounds the whole thing and hides the visual weight of the Evo II's deep front splitter.
